Compensation: $70-80/hr
Location: Houston, TX
Position: Systems Architect
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Systems Architect to join their team!
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for integration development efforts and major enhancements to COTS application.
- Team with the Systems Architecture and Application Development teams to produce a technical specification for systems integration requirement.
- Works with end users to validate requirements; captures relevant data and reporting requirements.
- Produce a detailed technical design document to match the solution design specifications.
- Define technical solutions ensuring considerations for system stability, performance, and ongoing maintainability.
- Prototypes designs and user requirements using various development and presentation tools.
- Designs, codes and tests client-server and web-based applications across each layer of the .NET framework including the user interface, forms, business logic, and integration with internal and external systems.
- Complete custom development efforts with a focus on product testing and quality assurance.
- Resolve system issues relating to user acceptance testing and respond to suggested improvements.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelors Degree
- 6-10 years of experience working with Microsoft BI or reporting tools such as SSAS, SSRS, BI Development Studio, and Power BI
- Data Oriented Software Development Environment
- ETL tools such as SSIS and Dell Boomi
- Oracle or SQL Server
- .Net Framework with proficiency in Visual Studio and TFS
- Experience with using multiple technologies such as VB.Net, C#, ASP.Net, MVC, WCT, HTML, XML, JSON, PHP, JavScript and SQL
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- ITIL certifications
- Microsoft Certifications
- Prior Oil & Gas experience
