Compensation: $75,000 – $110,000
Location: Catoosa, OK
Position: Continuous Improvement Engineer
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Continuous Improvement Engineer to join their team! This is an exciting opportunity to step into a hands-on engineering role with a strong focus on process improvement within a manufacturing setting. This team is looking to expand due to continued growth and the increasing importance of driving efficiency across operations. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive mindset and a passion for lean practices and data-driven solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Lead initiatives aimed at enhancing operational efficiency through lean manufacturing techniques
- Audit and implement continuous improvement strategies, including 5S and Kaizen activities
- Identify key performance indicators and new metrics to monitor productivity and quality
- Direct process audits, respond to findings, and utilize results to influence operational decisions
- Develop and recommend policy or procedural changes to elevate product and service quality
- Create support materials and presentations for process improvement projects
- Supervise and guide a small team within the assembly department, ensuring coordinated execution
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or relevant field
- 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong proficiency in common computer applications (email, databases, spreadsheets, word processing)
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience overseeing exempt employees
- Experience leading lean initiatives or continuous improvement events
- Background in developing and presenting continuous improvement strategies
