Position: Accounts Payable Manager
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Accounts Payable Manager to join their team!
This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of the accounts payable function for a fast-paced, multi-entity organization. This position will not only lead and mentor the AP team but also play a key role in month-end close, vendor relationship management, and process optimization. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in high-volume environments, enjoys staying hands-on in day-to-day operations, and has a collaborative leadership style.
Responsibilities:

Oversee the daily operations of the accounts payable function, ensuring compliance with company policies and controls

Manage and mentor one Accounts Payable Clerk, fostering a culture of professional development

Review and approve invoices for payment, ensuring accuracy and adherence to purchase orders and contracts

Handle vendor inquiries and resolve billing/payment discrepancies

Lead month-end close activities related to accounts payable, including reconciliations and reporting

Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth resolution of AP-related issues

Ensure compliance with financial and regulatory documentation requirements

Prepare and present AP performance metrics and reports to senior management
Required Qualifications & Experience:

Minimum of 5 years of accounts payable experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role

Experience in a high-volume invoice processing environment (hundreds per week)

Strong vendor management and reconciliation skills

Familiarity with general ledger and month-end financials
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

Experience in the healthcare industry

Proficiency with ERP or accounting software and AP automation tools
