Position: Electrical CAD Technician
Compensation: $25 – $27 /hour
Location: Ft Worth, Texas
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Electrical CAD Technician to join their team!
This exciting opportunity involves working onsite in Texas with a dynamic team to create world-class electrical CAD designs for pipeline projects. The role is crucial in assisting technical teams to develop computer-aided drafting solutions. This position offers the chance to grow in a collaborative environment, focusing on continuous improvement and innovation. Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Create and revise engineering drawings from sketches or layouts
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Associate degree in drafting technology or related field
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- Civil 3D expertise
- Experience with profile views and bands
- Ability to generate alignments and modify geometry
- Understanding of scaling and viewports
- Skilled in surface and pipe networks
- Familiarity with sheet set production
- Knowledge of layer management
- QA/QC skills for drafting errors
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans
- AutoLISP or Dynamo for productivity
