Position: Accountant II – Financial Reporting
Compensation: $72,000 – $90,000
Location: Denver, Colorado
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Accountant II – Financial Reporting to join their team!
This is a rare opportunity to join a leading organization in the government-administered retirement systems sector. They’re seeking a professional with deep expertise in comprehensive accounting and reporting requirements.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Perform account analysis and reconcile account balances
- Prepare general ledger journal entries
- Compile and produce financial statements and managerial reports
- Assist with budget entries and reporting processes
- Support the preparation of the Annual Comprehensive Financial Report
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- Three years of general ledger accounting and/or auditing experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- Experience with public pension and government accounting
- Knowledge of investment accounting
- Experience with PeopleSoft Financials
- Advanced Excel skills, including macros
