Position: Property Accountant
Compensation: $85,000 – $120,000 annually, depending on experience
Location: Houston, Texas

Join an innovative energy company as a Property Accountant, where you’ll play a vital role in managing property accounting functions. Dive into exciting projects that involve tracking fuel transfers, maintaining asset schedules, and calculating depreciation for oil and gas properties. Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Track and record fuel transfers on offshore vessels
- Maintain Asset Retirement Obligations schedule
- Calculate monthly depletion, depreciation, and amortization
- Perform quarterly Ceiling Tests for impairment assessment
- Prepare and maintain account reconciliations
- Execute and revise SOX controls as needed
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- 3+ years of property accounting experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- Strong analytical skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- Experience in BOLO accounting system
- Upstream oil and gas industry experience
- Strong work relationships development
