Position: Network Engineer
Compensation: $50 – $67 /hour, depending on experience
Location: Houston, Texas
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Network Engineer to join their team!
Are you ready to roll with a dynamic team? We have an exciting opportunity for a Network Engineer in Houston. This role is a backfill for a recent departure, and the competition is fierce. Our client is a leading player with hundreds of sites across the US, each requiring robust network support. You'll be the go-to expert for field techs, troubleshooting network and device issues remotely. Seize this chance to make your mark and outshine the competition!
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Provide remote troubleshooting for network and device issues
- Support network field techs across multiple sites
- Configure and monitor BGP
- Utilize Fortinet technologies for routing and switching
- Manage and analyze network performance using SolarWinds
- Participate in on-call rotation every 6 weeks
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Mid to Lead level network experience
- Proficiency in Fortinet technologies
- Experience with routing, switching, and LTE devices
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Ability to monitor and configure BGP
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- Experience with AWS
- Familiarity with Cisco 1101 devices
