Position: Technical Support Lead – Payment Systems
Compensation: $38 – $42/hour, depending on experience
Location: Onsite – Atlanta, Georgia
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Technical Support Lead – Payment Systems to join their team! This role will be responsible for overseeing the stability, functionality, and performance of the organization’s payment systems, including point of sale (POS), payment systems/plaltforms, and integrations with vendors. The position requires strong technical knowledge, hands-on troubleshooting, project coordination, and leadership experience. You will act as a subject matter expert (SME) for all payment-related technologies, ensuring smooth operations, timely issue resolution, and successful delivery of upgrades and deployments across the enterprise.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Serve as the Level 3 escalation point for all payment systems, ensuring issues are resolved quickly and effectively.
- Lead and coordinate software upgrades and deployments, including a major payment platform upgrade across various locations.
- Manage internal and vendor relationships and act as a payment systems subject matter expert.
- Oversee Payment applications support tickets, track work in ServiceNow, and ensure performance metrics are met.
- Work hands-on with system configuration, testing, and quality assurance to keep payment platforms stable and secure.
- Support ongoing POS initiatives and related technologies
- Serve as point of contact for franchisee and vendor escalations.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- 3–5 years of experience with POS, payments, and related technologies.
- Leadership or supervisory experience.
- Strong technical knowledge of payment platforms and Windows environments
- Excellent communication, organization, and project management skills.
- Vendor management experience.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- PMP certification.
- SQL
- PowerShell Scripting
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field
- Experience with restaurant industry technology vendors.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Background in application support and cloud-based integrations
