Position: Desktop Engineering Lead
Compensation: $90,000-$100,000 annually, depending on experience
Location: Houston, Texas

Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Streamline desktop engineering processes and enhance efficiency
- Develop automation tools to improve desktop management
- Execute patch management to ensure system security
- Provide technical guidance and support to the team
- Collaborate with IT teams to align technology with business goals
- Define and enforce desktop engineering standards
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum of 6 years in IT desktop engineering
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- Expertise in Windows environments and endpoint management
- Proficiency in PowerShell; Python or Bash is optional
- Experience in patch orchestration and software packaging
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- Experience with virtual desktops and Thin Client setups
- Familiarity with VMware or Hyper-V platforms
- Methodical, data-driven approach to problem-solving
