Position: Design Engineer
Compensation: $38 – $42 /hour, depending on experience
Location: Overland Park, Kansas
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Design Engineer to join their team!
Join an innovative team where your expertise in SolidWorks will be pivotal. As a Design Engineer, you’ll bridge the gap between design and production, ensuring models and drawings are ready for fabrication. This is a 6-month contract-to-hire opportunity, offering a chance to work on diverse projects and make a significant impact.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Utilize SolidWorks for advanced modeling and toolpaths
- Collaborate with project managers and production staff
- Uphold quality standards and accountability for projects
- Communicate professionally with clients when necessary
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, or Mechanical Engineering
- 3-5 years of experience in Design Engineering
- Advanced proficiency in SolidWorks
- Ability to read architectural plans
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- Experience with structural metal, sheet metal, or plastics
