Position: Accounting Manager
Compensation: $120,000 – $160,000 annually, depending on experience
Location: Houston, Texas
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Accounting Manager to join their team!
Join a dynamic manufacturing company as a Accounting Manager to oversee General Ledger (GL) and Accounts Receivable (AR) operations. This is a fantastic opportunity to optimize processes and implement controls in a fast-paced environment. The role is open due to growth, and you’ll be an integral part of the monthly close process, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Manage and mentor AR teams for high performance
- Oversee day-to-day AR operations
- Lead, coaCh and develop a team of accounting professionals; ensure high performance and accountability
- Oversee the full cycle GL process, including journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and month-end close activities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, balance sheet schedules, and supporting documentation
- Evaluate and streamline AR processes for efficiency
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 5+ years in Accounting and AR, 3+ years in manufacturing
- Proficient in Excel and accounting software
- Experience managing GL and AR functions; management experience required
- Excellent communication skills
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA, PMP)
- Experience with ERP Systems
- Ability to manipulate large amounts of data
