Position: Shared Services Accounting Manager
Compensation: $120,000 – $140,000 annually, depending on experience
Location: Houston, Texas
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Shared Services Accounting Manager to join their team!
Join a dynamic manufacturing company as a Shared Services Accounting Manager, where you’ll lead the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions. This is a fantastic opportunity to optimize processes and implement controls in a fast-paced environment. The role is open due to growth, and you’ll be an integral part of the monthly close process, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Manage and mentor AR and AP teams for high performance
- Oversee day-to-day AR and AP operations
- Ensure timely invoicing, collections, and reconciliations
- Collaborate with supply chain and production planning
- Evaluate and streamline AR/AP processes for efficiency
- Support internal and external audits
- Mitigate risks by enforcing credit policies
- Serve as point of contact for AR/AP escalations
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 7+ years in AR and AP roles, 3+ years in manufacturing
- Proficient in Excel and accounting software
- Strong leadership and team-building skills
- Excellent communication skills
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA, PMP)
- Experience with ERP Systems
- Ability to manipulate large amounts of data
