Position: Accounting Manager
Compensation: $100,000 – $130,000 annually, depending on experience
Location: Houston, Texas
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Accounting Manager to join their team!
Join a dynamic professional services firm as an Accounting Manager, where you will lead billing and collections functions and support key financial operations. Reporting directly to the CFO/Controller, you’ll play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of accounting practices while contributing to strategic financial planning, month-end close, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your expertise in a collaborative environment and drive impactful financial strategies.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Oversee monthly client invoice preparation and uploads
- Manage complex billing scenarios and client-specific requests
- Administer e-billing processes and resolve invoice issues
- Review and approve billing edits, write-offs, and rate adjustments
- Train and mentor billing staff
- Monitor accounts receivable and collection activities
- Manage monthly close process and financial report generation
- Assist in preparing financial statements and tax returns
- Engage with attorneys for ad hoc financial requests
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
- Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience in professional services
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and compliance
- Proficient in Elite, Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Demonstrated leadership and communication skills
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- CPA certification
- Experience with e-Billing Hub and client platforms
- Knowledge of partnership tax returns and external audits
