Position: Reliability Engineer

Compensation: $45 – $58 /hour

Location: Houston, Texas

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Reliability Engineer to join their team!

Join a leading company in the water infrastructure space as a Reliability Engineer. This role focuses on enhancing equipment performance and reliability through data-driven analysis and proactive maintenance strategies. The position is based in Houston, with occasional travel to West Texas and South Texas. This exciting opportunity is open due to a strategic pivot from analytics to reliability engineering, emphasizing mechanical expertise.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Develop and sustain equipment reliability programs.
• Lead root cause and failure analyses.
• Utilize predictive maintenance data for planning interventions.
• Collaborate with teams to improve equipment design and maintenance.
• Optimize CMMS data and asset hierarchies.
• Track and report key performance indicators.
• Support reliability-centered maintenance programs.
• Contribute to CapEx project designs for reliability.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
• Strong understanding of Python & SQL.
• Familiarity with equipment operation parameters.
• Deep knowledge of reliability methodology and tools.
• Experience in water midstream or Oil & Gas environments.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Dashboard experience with Tableau, Spotfire, or Power BI.
• Ability to communicate technical information effectively.
• Strong organizational and customer service skills.

Other Information:

• Hybrid work setup with 3 days/week in the office.
• Travel required every 4-6 weeks to West Texas; quarterly to Oklahoma or South Texas.
