Position: Pipeline Scheduler
Compensation: $30 – $50 /hour, depending on experience
Location: Houston, Texas
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Pipeline Scheduler to join their team!
Join a dynamic team as a Pipeline Scheduler where you’ll play a crucial role in managing the daily nomination, confirmation, allocation, and imbalance processes for interstate and intrastate pipelines. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading company in the energy sector, offering a challenging and rewarding environment. The role has opened up to enhance operational efficiency and support the growing needs of the business.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Interface with shippers and pipelines for nominations and confirmations.
- Ensure accurate reflection of confirmed nominations in the system.
- Minimize imbalances with shippers and gas control.
- Prepare final scheduled volumes for operations and management.
- Confirm monthly totals for nominations and allocated volumes.
- Maintain positive relationships with the shipper community.
- Monitor pipeline IPWSs for OFOs and communicate with shippers.
- Work closely with schedulers on system enhancements and transitions.
- Provide on-call support for scheduling coverage on nights/weekends.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- 4+ years experience in Gas Scheduling or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Knowledge of industry terminology and Pipeline Tariffs.
- Familiarity with NAESB/FERC regulations.
- Experience with IPWSs for scheduling and confirming gas.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- Knowledge of the Quorum application (QPTM/TIPS).
- Strong customer service skills.

Other Information:
- Schedule: Monday & Friday: Remote, Tuesday – Thursday: In-office
- Approximately 10-20% of anticipated travel.
