Position: Financial Systems Accountant
Compensation: $95,000 – $105,000 annually, depending on experience
Location: Houston, Texas
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Financial Systems Accountant to join their team!
Join a leading transportation and midstream provider, specializing in solutions for crude oil and natural gas liquids. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a dynamic and entrepreneurial work environment. The role is open to support ongoing Chart of Accounts maintenance and optimization efforts. You’ll collaborate with various departments, ensuring financial infrastructure is robust and efficient. The company offers a vibrant culture and the chance to make a significant impact.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Review and approve Chart of Accounts requests in Oracle EDM
- Ensure compliance with governance policies and procedures
- Maintain and optimize cross-validation rules in Oracle ERP
- Manage HR and Projects tables related to COA values
- Provide business support for COA integration with other platforms
- Conduct SOX control reviews and ensure audit readiness
- Act as a subject matter expert for Oracle Cloud General Ledger
- Design, test, and deploy financial reports
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the department
- Develop and maintain documentation for COA processes
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Management Information Systems
- 5+ years of accounting experience in a systems-focused role
- Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud ERP
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office tools
- Proven experience in financial system implementations and integrations
- Cleared criminal history and satisfactory reference checks
- Compliance with the Company’s drug and alcohol policy
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- Experience with Oracle Cloud EPM, especially EDM
- Familiarity with application training tools
- Knowledge of automated testing platforms
