Position: Cutover Manager
Compensation: $80 – $90 /hour, depending on experience
Location: Remote/Hybrid, local to Houston, TX
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Cutover Manager to join their team!
Join a dynamic team as a Cutover Manager, where you’ll play a pivotal role in overseeing the IT transition for a major company spinoff. This is a unique opportunity to lead large-scale program initiatives, ensuring a smooth separation of IT services. This role is open due to a strategic company transformation, offering you the chance to make a significant impact in a remote work environment.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Lead development and execution of end-to-end cutover plans
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams for system transitions
- Identify and mitigate risks related to cutover activities
- Manage hyper care phase post-cutover for incident response
- Provide regular status updates and performance metrics
- Drive process improvements for future cutover activities
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
- 5-7 years of IT project management experience
- Experience in end-to-end cutover planning or transition management
- Strong understanding of enterprise systems and data migration
- Proven experience with technical change management
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Expertise in Project Management and technical migrations
- Experience with ServiceNow
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification
- Expertise in technical migrations/integrations
- Experience with hypercare support in transformation initiatives
