Position: Senior Accountant
Compensation: $35 – $40 /hour, depending on experience
Location: Morrisville, North Carolina
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Senior Accountant to join their team!
Join a dynamic team where you will manage and oversee daily accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial standards. Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Prepare and review journal entries and reconciliations
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes
- Analyze financial data for management reporting
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes
- Assist with external audits and regulatory filings
- Ensure compliance with GAAP/IFRS
- Review and improve accounting processes
- Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff
- Collaborate with other departments on financial matters
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting principles
- Advanced Excel skills
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, QuickBooks, Oracle)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Effective communication and leadership skills
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- Experience with ERP system implementation
- Exposure to tax compliance, payroll, and cost accounting
- Knowledge of financial analysis and business performance metrics
