Position: IT Desktop Support Technician
Compensation: $ 35 – 45 /hour, depending on experience
Location: Midland, Texas
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled IT Desktop Support Technician to join their team!
Join a dynamic team as an IT Desktop Support Technician, where you’ll be the go-to expert for resolving IT issues and enhancing operational efficiency. This contract position offers the chance to work on exciting infrastructure projects and operational initiatives. Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Serve as the single IT contact for assigned site
- Support hardware and software on company desktops
- Install and troubleshoot Windows 11 and business applications
- Setup and manage MFP for network functions
- Coordinate hardware and software upgrades with IT groups
- Maintain PC and accessories inventory
- Resolve local and network-related issues
- Provide IT training to customers
- Document resolutions in IT knowledge base
- Travel 75% within a three to four-hour driving radius
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- College or technical school degree preferred
- Two or more certifications required in lieu of a degree
- Five or more years of related work experience
- Experience in PC, LAN, WAN, and Cloud-based solutions
- Ability to manage mobile devices
- Experience with ITSM software required
- Must have a clean driving record
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- Experience in SCADA and GIS applications
- Prior experience with Gas Measurement applications
- Understanding of business strategy impact on IT
