Position: Senior Revenue Accountant

Compensation: $80,000 – $100,000 annually, depending on experience

Location: Oklahoma City, OK 

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Senior Revenue Accountant to join their team!

Join a dynamic and growing oil and gas team where your expertise will help shape the future of the revenue accounting department. This is a fantastic opportunity to manage revenue accounting for a large asset base, initially overseeing check distribution for over 1,000 wells in Texas. Step into a leadership role with potential for growth as the company scales.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Prepare and analyze monthly revenue entries and allocations.
• Manage check distribution for 1,000+ wells.
• Ensure accuracy of owner decks and revenue accruals.
• Utilize Quorum for revenue processing and reporting.
• Identify and implement process improvements.
• Review and interpret contracts and agreements.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Resolve complex owner inquiries and discrepancies.
• Provide mentorship to junior staff.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with various departments.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• 6+ years of oil & gas revenue accounting experience.
• Experience with Quorum revenue system required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
• Understanding of Texas statutory requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Experience with system upgrades or integrations.
• Leadership potential and team development skills.
• Knowledge of Texas RRC guidelines.
