Position: Security Analyst
Compensation: $ 45 – 60 /hour, depending on experience
Location: Houston, Texas
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Security Analyst to join their team!
Join an innovative team where you'll manage and optimize logging tools for enhanced security. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about cybersecurity and eager to take ownership of SIEM tools. The role is open due to an increasing backlog of projects, offering a chance to make a significant impact.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Manage all responsibilities of logging tools (SIEM)
- Ensure productive operation of Splunk and other SIEM tools
- Organize and monitor logs efficiently
- Coordinate with third-party SOC team for Splunk issues
- Monitor licensing and technical issues for tools
- Send log-related issues to appropriate groups
- Drive improvements and backlog resolution
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Heavy SIEM experience
- Extensive experience with logging
- Proficient with Splunk, Syslog NG, and Forti-Analyzer
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- Linux experience
