Position: Site Safety & Health Officer (Nationwide Travel & Rotating Schedule)
Compensation: $75,000 – $100,000 annually, depending on experience
Location: 100% Travel in the United States
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Site Safety & Health Officer (Nationwide Travel) to join their team!
Join a dynamic environment where safety is paramount. As a Site Safety & Health Officer, you will oversee daily site safety and compliance, ensuring the well-being of crew and vessel. This role offers the chance to travel nationwide, providing housing and per diem, and is ideal for those dedicated to hands-on safety practices. Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Oversee daily site safety and compliance with OSHA standards
- Guide and support site supervisors on safety training
- Conduct safety training and orientations
- Complete daily and weekly safety reports
- Identify and address safety issues proactively
- Ensure visibility and hands-on approach on-site
- Travel between project sites with provided housing and per diem
- The rotation schedule is 17 days on / 11 days off
- This is a 100% field-based travel position with rotations determined by active project sites, so the employee may live anywhere in the U.S. (with a preference for those along the Gulf or East Coast)
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- 3–5+ years in construction safety (vertical/heavy construction)
- OSHA certifications required
- Strong communication and proactive approach
- Hands-on and visible on-site presence
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- OSHA 30 certification preferred
- Dredging/marine experience is a plus
- Military construction experience is a plus
- Long-term work history preferred
