Position: Software Test Engineer

Compensation: $35 – 40 /hour, depending on experience

Location: Lenexa, Kansas

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Create and maintain automated test cases
• Execute test suites and diagnose defects
• Conduct peer reviews of test scripts
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Review requirements and technical specifications
• Identify, debug, and resolve system malfunctions
• Facilitate test plan reviews with stakeholders
• Estimate testing tasks and work independently
• Automate manual testing processes using Powershell
• Contribute to IT knowledge base

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• 1-3 years in test automation or development operations
• Experience in API testing (SOAP, RESTful)
• Proficiency in Java or C# with frameworks
• SQL query development skills
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 suite
• Local to Kansas City Metro

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Experience with Microsoft Playwright
• Background in IT operational projects
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum environments
