Position: Network Engineer
Compensation: $40 – $50 /hour, depending on experience
Location: North Kansas City, Missouri
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Network Engineer to join their team!
Join a dynamic environment where you'll be the go-to expert for maintaining and optimizing the network infrastructure. This is a fantastic opportunity to leverage your networking skills in a hands-on role. The role is open due to the need for dedicated support in managing day-to-day network operations.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Configure and troubleshoot VLANs, trunking, and STP
- Manage routing protocols like OSPF/EIGRP
- Handle IP addressing, subnetting, and NAT
- Troubleshoot circuit issues
- Respond to tickets and outages
- Make configuration changes during maintenance windows
- Be physically present for outages or critical changes
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- 3-5 years of core networking expertise
- Strong experience with Cisco equipment
- Proficient in routing and switching
- Experience with NAT and WAN
- Hands-on experience with network troubleshooting tools
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- Experience with BGP
- Familiarity with SNMP monitoring and packet captures
- Knowledge of MPLS and VPNs
