Position: Denials Coordinator
Compensation: $ 21 – 33 /hour, depending on experience
Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Join a dynamic team as a Denials Coordinator, where you’ll play a crucial role in improving collections and reducing open balances. This position offers a unique opportunity to work closely with industry professionals, providing valuable insights to prevent future denials. Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Target insurance denials to improve collections
- Handle inpatient notices of admission and authorizations
- Assist with first and second level appeals
- Identify trends and root causes to prevent future denials
- Prepare appeals on clinical denials
- Submit Notices of Admission for missing inpatient admissions
- Defend and appeal claims with required follow-up
- Request inpatient authorizations for admissions without prior authorization
- Collaborate with Denials Analyst and Underpayments Coordinator
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum of two years in Insurance Follow-Up or Denials
- Degree required
- Knowledge of insurance collections and denials
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- Clinical Denials experience
- Epic experience
