Position: Insurance Follow Up Specialist
Compensation: $20 – $27 /hour, depending on experience
Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Insurance Follow Up Specialist to join their team!
Join a dynamic team dedicated to ensuring timely and accurate insurance payments. As an Insurance Follow Up Specialist, you’ll play a crucial role in managing accounts and liaising with insurance companies. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a knack for investigation and exceptional communication skills. Be part of a team that values precision and efficiency in the healthcare sector.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Follow up with insurance companies for prompt payment
- Investigate and resolve payment delays
- Manage accounts independently
- Handle confidential information responsibly
- Document actions taken on accounts clearly
- Work with teams to ensure EDI information accuracy
- Answer inquiries within 48 hours
- Process denials according to policy
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- One year of healthcare-related experience
- Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance
- Experience with Medicare online system
- Strong customer service background
- Excellent communication skills
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- Experience with payer portals
- Proven organization skills
- Good investigative skills
