Position: Communications Engineer
Compensation: $120,000 – $150,000 annually, depending on experience
Location: Houston, Texas
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Communications Engineer to join their team!
Join a leading provider of midstream energy services, where you will implement and support cutting-edge technologies. This is a unique opportunity to engage in dynamic projects across various communication systems, contributing to a vast network of pipelines and storage facilities. The role offers a chance to work in a highly experienced team, ensuring quality control and managing communication projects with multiple vendors and contractors.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Design and implement communication systems
- Project manage deployment of communication designs
- Interface with customers for design details
- Manage budgets for communication projects
- Provide technical support for field technicians
- Research and integrate new communication technologies
- Ensure quality control of deployed systems
- Administer FCC and FAA communication assets
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Telecommunications Engineering
- 7 years of experience in wireless, voice, SCADA, and data networks
- Experience in design and integration of communication systems
- Proficiency in Visio or CAD for system diagrams
- Ability to manage multiple projects and requests
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- PMP certification
- FCC license and CCNA certification
- Experience with communications path profile software
- Utilization of FCC ULS website
