Position: Data Architect

Compensation: $125,000 – $155,000 annually, depending on experience

Location: Full Remote

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Data Architect to join their team!

As a Data Architect, you’ll play a pivotal role in designing and developing IT architecture for clinical healthcare migration projects. Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Develop and design IT systems and infrastructure architecture
• Create detailed diagrams and documentation for system components
• Ensure seamless integration of new and existing IT systems
• Assess and recommend technologies based on business requirements
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align IT architecture with objectives
• Architect solutions within Microsoft Azure Government environments
• Design data architecture leveraging Azure Synapse Analytics
• Lead development of data transformation and quality pipelines
• Define storage and metadata strategies using Azure Delta Lake
• Implement data testing and validation using Great Expectations

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Experience developing long-term IT strategies aligned with business goals
• Ability to identify and mitigate risks across IT architecture
• Technical leadership during solution design and troubleshooting
• Experience with cloud-native data architectures using Microsoft Azure
• Familiarity with Healthcare Domain and Terminology Sets
• Must have an active public trust clearance

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Experience with Serverless SQL & PySpark Pools
• Proficiency in PySpark & Python scripting
• Knowledge of Parquet, Delta Lake, and metadata-driven file structures
• Experience with Great Expectations / PyTest for data validation
