Position: Mechanical CAD Technician

Compensation: $24.4 – $28.6 /hour, depending on experience

Location: Englewood, Colorado

Inceed has partnered with a top engineering company to help find a skilled Mechanical CAD Technician to join their team!

Join a dynamic team of engineers and designers in creating world-class designs for critical infrastructure projects. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on natural gas facilities, compressor stations, and petroleum pipelines. Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Develop and revise 2D and 3D mechanical and piping system drawings
• Translate sketches and instructions into accurate CAD models
• Ensure compliance with company and industry standards
• Prepare technical deliverables like sketches and maps
• Perform quality control checks on drawings
• Coordinate CAD file storage and retrieval
• Support multiple projects simultaneously
• Research design solutions and improve drafting standards

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• High school diploma or CAD certification required
• Proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD software
• Strong understanding of engineering and drafting concepts
• Excellent communication skills

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation
• Knowledge of 3D plant design software
• Experience with model review software
