Position: Tax Specialist
Compensation: $100,000 – $130,000 annually, depending on experience
Location: Houston, Texas
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Tax Specialist to join their team!
Join a dynamic team where your expertise in tax compliance will drive efficiency and accuracy. You’ll be pivotal in managing property and income tax compliance across multiple entities. This role offers the chance to collaborate with various departments and global management teams, providing a broad exposure to tax practices and policies. Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Prepare and file property tax renditions
- Ensure timely payment of property tax liabilities
- Maintain accurate property tax records
- Reconcile and analyze property tax accounts
- Identify opportunities for appeals or reductions
- Prepare tax reports and provisions
- Implement process improvements
- Assist in preparing federal and state tax returns
- Defend during tax audits
- Maintain compliance with SOX controls
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- B.S. in Accounting
- 3 – 5 years of tax compliance experience
- Hands-on property tax rendition preparation
- Knowledge of IFRS income tax accounting
- Proficiency in Excel
- Strong analytical and communication skills
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- Experience with SAP and OneSource systems
- Experience in federal and state income tax returns
- Power BI proficiency
- Multicultural team collaboration
