Position: Offline Hydrographic Surveyor (Nationwide Travel & Rotating Schedule)
Compensation: $94,500 – $98,000 annually, depending on experience
Location: Full Remote
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Offline Hydrographic Surveyor to join their team!
Join a dynamic team on a brand-new offshore vessel project focused on rock installation and subsea cable work. This exciting opportunity involves working with a newly built team supporting a 24-hour operation offshore. As an Offline Hydrographic Surveyor, you will manage and process large amounts of survey data collected from underwater environments, ensuring accuracy and completeness. This role offers a unique chance to work on cutting-edge projects in the offshore wind energy industry.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Inspect quality of raw data and notify if unsuitable for processing
- Assist in preparing technical reports and data production
- Manage time to prioritize processing tasks
- QC dataset at each processing stage for data integrity
- Discuss requirements with Survey Party Chief
- Adhere to company data management policy
- Create/amend charts and project templates
- Prepare reports and data for delivery to high standards
- Maintain processing logs and record offsets used
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field preferred
- Experience in hydrographic and bathymetric data processing
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts and 4-week rotation
- Must be a US Citizen
- Valid driver's license, passport, and TWIC card
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- Experience with offshore operations
- Familiarity with subsea cable work
- Knowledge of data management policies
