Position: JIB Processor
Compensation: $22 – $26 /hour, depending on experience
Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled JIB Processor to join their team!
This is a fantastic opportunity for a detail-oriented accounting professional to support joint interest billing and accounts payable functions within the Oil & Gas industry. The role will focus primarily on JIB processing, ownership allocations, and invoice verification, while also assisting with accounts payable reconciliation and vendor-related research. You’ll play a key role in ensuring accurate cost allocation and maintaining organized accounting records following a recent acquisition.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Process Joint Interest Billing (JIB) invoices
- Allocate costs according to ownership interests
- Review and verify vendor invoices
- Assist with reconciliation of historical invoices
- Research and resolve discrepancies
- Communicate with vendors and internal teams
- Support cleanup and organization of records
- Prepare organized documentation for accounting teams
- Utilize Excel for data analysis and reporting
- Provide general accounts payable support
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and lookups
- Experience with accounts payable or invoice processing
- High attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and learn new systems
- Strong communication skills for coordination
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- JIB accounting or joint interest billing experience
- Oil & gas industry experience
- Experience supporting accounting cleanups post-acquisitions
