Position: Staff Civil Designer
Compensation: $45 – $55 /hour, depending on experience
Location: Bloomington, Minnesota
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Staff Civil Designer to join their team!
Join a dynamic team working on civil site development projects with municipalities and utility companies. This role offers the opportunity to utilize your design skills to support a variety of clients, primarily local government, utilities, and industrial clients. The position is open to enhance the team’s design and drafting capabilities, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Design civil engineering projects including site design and land development
- Execute civil design assignments using AutoCAD and Civil 3D
- Analyze reports and data to plan and design projects
- Incorporate design codes and specifications
- Review design drawings for quality assurance
- Coordinate design tasks with project team members
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in drafting technology or related field with 7 years experience
- Expert understanding of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MicroStation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- Experience with pipe networks
- Experience with microstation
