Position: Staff Accountant
Compensation: $65,000 – $75,000 annually, depending on experience
Location: Lenexa, Kansas

Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Reconcile sub-ledger accounts to general ledger
- Participate in month-end close process
- Prepare journal entries and handle general accounting tasks
- Conduct research and analytical problem solving
- Respond to branch inquiries professionally
- Prepare summary financial information for management
- Assist with external audits and prepare schedules
- Engage in special projects as needed
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 1-3 years of experience as a Staff Accountant
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Attention to detail and effective communication skills
- Self-starter with ability to prioritize tasks
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- Experience with multiple locations
- Familiarity with the construction industry
- Knowledge of Power BI
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX or D365
