Position: Data Engineer

Compensation: $110,000 – $120,000 annually, depending on experience

Location: Hemsptead, Texas

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Data Engineer to join their team!

Join a dynamic team as a Data Engineer, where you'll design and manage data architectures, ensuring integrity and scalability in a collaborative environment. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to leverage their expertise in Microsoft Azure technologies and make a significant impact by optimizing data systems and providing technical guidance to fellow engineers and analysts.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Design scalable data solutions on Microsoft Azure
• Implement data architectures supporting ETL and data warehousing
• Define and enforce data governance standards
• Collaborate to gather requirements and recommend improvements
• Create and maintain ETL data pipelines
• Optimize data models for efficient storage and retrieval
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance
• Document data architecture design and processes
• Conduct data modeling and design reviews

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Lake, and Azure Data Factory
• Solid understanding of data modeling and ETL processes
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent experience
• Minimum 5 years experience in data engineering with Azure focus
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Experience with Azure Cosmos DB
• Understanding of data governance best practices
• Previous experience in a mentoring role
