Position: Data Engineer
Compensation: $110,000 – $120,000 annually, depending on experience
Location: Hemsptead, Texas

Join a dynamic team as a Data Engineer, where you'll design and manage data architectures, ensuring integrity and scalability in a collaborative environment. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to leverage their expertise in Microsoft Azure technologies and make a significant impact by optimizing data systems and providing technical guidance to fellow engineers and analysts.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Design scalable data solutions on Microsoft Azure
- Implement data architectures supporting ETL and data warehousing
- Define and enforce data governance standards
- Collaborate to gather requirements and recommend improvements
- Create and maintain ETL data pipelines
- Optimize data models for efficient storage and retrieval
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance
- Document data architecture design and processes
- Conduct data modeling and design reviews
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Lake, and Azure Data Factory
- Solid understanding of data modeling and ETL processes
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years experience in data engineering with Azure focus
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- Experience with Azure Cosmos DB
- Understanding of data governance best practices
- Previous experience in a mentoring role
