Position: System Administrator – Cloud Migration
Compensation: $45 – 55/hour, depending on experience
Location: Oklahoma City,
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled System Administrator – Cloud Migration to join their team!
Are you ready to take your career to the cloud? Join a dynamic team focused on migrating legacy systems to AWS. This is your chance to make a significant impact by manually building fresh target environments in AWS, working closely with application owners to ensure seamless transitions. Step into a role where your expertise will be pivotal in transforming on-premise specs into cutting-edge cloud solutions.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Provision new EC2 instances based on existing specs
- Configure VPCs, Security Groups, and IAM Roles
- Install and harden middleware/base applications
- Collaborate with application owners for data migration
- Ensure OS and patch levels meet current standards
- Manage the build of 10-20+ servers weekly
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- 3+ years of VMware ESXi/vCenter experience
- 2+ years hands-on AWS console/CLI experience
- Strong background in Windows Server/Linux administration
- Meticulous execution and attention to detail
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- Experience with SQL, IIS, Apache applications
- Familiarity with IP schemes and security groups
