Position: Data Engineer
Compensation: $130,000 – $150,000 annually, depending on experience
Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Data Engineer to join their team!

You will play a key part in designing and optimizing enterprise database systems, supporting both cloud and on-premises solutions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive innovation in data management.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Design, develop, and optimize enterprise database systems
- Lead database development initiatives and migration strategies
- Support relational and non-relational data platforms
- Provide advanced troubleshooting for database performance issues
- Ensure high availability, compliance, and data protection
- Integrate databases with applications and support ETL workflows
- Monitor performance and plan for capacity and disaster recovery
- Maintain comprehensive database documentation
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- 4-6 years hands-on experience with ETL and ELT frameworks
- Hands-on experience with SQL Server database technologies
- Experience with database troubleshooting and performance tuning
- Associate’s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to perform occasional after-hours critical support
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric and Python Scala Notebooks
- Oil and gas or energy industry experience
- Relevant database certifications (OCP, Azure Database Administrator Associate)
- Knowledge of database concepts like ACID, normalization, replication, sharding
- Experience with cloud databases (AWS RDS, Azure SQL, Google Cloud SQL)
- Big data tools (Hadoop, Spark)
- Familiarity with database monitoring tools and ETL frameworks (SSIS)
- Understanding of BI tools (Tableau, Power BI) and automation scripting
- Knowledge of cybersecurity and data protection best practices
