Position: Senior Network Engineer
Compensation: $110,000 – $120,000 annually, depending on experience
Location: Lenexa, Kansas
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Senior Network Engineer to join their team!
Join a dynamic team as a Senior Network Engineer, where you’ll play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the company’s network infrastructure. This opportunity allows you to work closely with IT and Operations Technology teams, ensuring seamless business communication and network reliability. The position offers a hybrid work schedule, allowing flexibility between remote and on-site work. This role is perfect for those ready to step into a senior-level position and grow within the company.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Respond to calls and escalated network issues
- Design and diagram network improvements and maintenance
- Manage network vulnerabilities and patches
- Ensure effective business communication
- Prepare for network impacts due to weather conditions
- Participate in an on-call rotation for network support
- Collaborate with multiple business units
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Experience with switches and firewalls
- 8+ years in network engineering or equivalent experience
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to de-escalate issues with clients
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- Experience with Cisco switches and Palo Alto firewalls
- Background in utilities and ITIL processes
- Cybersecurity knowledge
- Recent certifications in network technologies
