Position: Billing Associate
Compensation: $26 – $29/hour depending on experience
Location: Austin, Texas
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Billing Associate to join their team!
Join a dynamic team where you will play a crucial role in managing direct bill carrier statements and ensuring smooth accounting operations. This is an excellent opportunity to showcase your accounting skills in a fast-paced environment while working with a supportive team. This role has opened due to the company’s growth and need for additional expertise.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Record direct bill carrier statements for various companies
- Match direct bill commission statements to received payments
- Collaborate with internal and external accounting personnel
- Resolve discrepancies related to direct bills
- Process return payments to carriers
- Maintain banking setups for electronic activities
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- 2-4 years of accounting experience or educational equivalent
- Basic knowledge of journal entries, accounts receivable, and payable
- Strong computer skills, especially in Excel and Microsoft Office
- Accurate data entry and math skills
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- Previous insurance experience
- Experience with the EPIC agency management system
- College education in accounting courses
