Position: PI Systems Administrator
Compensation: $45 – $65/hour, depending on experience
Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled PI Systems Administrator to join their team!
This is a newly created role with a growing industrial organization focused on strengthening OT security and infrastructure. This person will help implement recommendations from an external cybersecurity assessment across plant infrastructure, OT networks, and PI-related environments. It is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on OT work and helping modernize critical operational systems.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Help implement recommendations from a third-party OT cybersecurity assessment
- Support security and infrastructure initiatives across operational technology environments
- Evaluate and recommend hardware solutions for plant and operational infrastructure
- Support PI hardware, framework, and related operational technology systems
- Partner with cross-functional teams to improve security, reliability, and performance across OT environments
- Assist in securing and maintaining operational systems in industrial settings
- Travel to plant locations as needed to support projects and site initiatives
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Hands-on experience supporting operational technology within industrial IT or plant environment
- Hands-on experience with PI hardware, PI framework, industrial historians, or similar OT systems
- Ability to review technical findings and help implement cybersecurity or infrastructure improvements
- Experience in industrial, chemical, oil & gas, manufacturing, or similar environments
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- Experience with OT networking or network security
- Exposure to OT cybersecurity best practices
- Experience with SCADA, HMI, PLCs, or other industrial control system technologies
- Experience with industrial networking, plant infrastructure, or OT cybersecurity
- Experience supporting infrastructure in plant or production environments
