Position: Sr. Data Ops / Data Platform Administrator

Compensation: $120,000 – $150,000 annually, depending on experience

Location: Denver, Colorado

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Sr. Data Ops / Data Platform Administrator to join their team!

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Execute regular upgrades and patching of VDP servers
• Monitor system uptime and manage environment-specific settings
• Manage caching and resource allocation for optimal query speeds
• Act as Tier 3 escalation for data connectivity issues
• Manage Role-Based Access Control and user provisioning on cloud platforms
• Monitor Snowflake credit usage and manage resource alerts
• Oversee operational health of cloud services
• Manage deployments for Astro/Airflow and ensure proper configurations
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines for seamless code deployment
• Update system documentation and maintain operational standards

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• 5+ years in Systems Admin, DBA, or DataOps role
• Experience managing on-prem Denodo with focus on performance tuning
• Strong administrative background in Snowflake
• Proficiency in dbt Cloud, Fivetran, and Airflow
• Strong understanding of SQL and Git/DevOps

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Familiarity with Databricks
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline maintenance
• Knowledge of resource monitors and alerting systems
