Position: PC Refresh Lead
Compensation: $40 – $45 /hour, depending on experience
Location: Houston, Texas
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled PC Refresh Lead to join their team!
This is an exciting opportunity to lead a companywide PC Refresh initiative, ensuring a seamless transition for end-users while maintaining IT standards. Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Lead daily PC Refresh operations and team coordination
- Coordinate work assignments and priorities for team members
- Serve as escalation point for complex refresh issues
- Ensure adherence to IT policies and project timelines
- Image, configure, and deploy laptops/desktops to standards
- Perform data migration and technical support during refresh
- Coordinate collection and return of old devices
- Maintain inventory and asset tracking records
- Document deployments, issues, and resolutions
- Provide regular status updates to IT leadership
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Proven experience in PC refreshes and hardware rollouts
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and PC hardware
- Experience with imaging and configuring enterprise laptops/desktops
- Hands-on experience with data migration and user setup
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to lead work efforts and remain hands-on technically
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- Experience leading small technical teams or projects
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 applications and services
- Knowledge of Active Directory and device management tools
- Asset management and inventory tracking processes
- Prior experience in a corporate or enterprise IT environment
