Position: Denials Coordinator
Compensation: $21 – $33 /hour, depending on experience
Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Denials Coordinator to join their team!
Join a dynamic and dedicated team as a Denials Coordinator, where you’ll play a crucial role in improving collections and reducing open balances. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals passionate about insurance collections and denials, with a chance to work closely with a supportive team and make a real impact.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Target insurance denials to enhance collections
- Handle inpatient notices and authorizations
- Assist with first and second level appeals
- Identify trends to prevent future denials
- Prepare appeals under Denials Manager guidance
- Defend and appeal claims efficiently
- Submit requests for accurate coding of denials
- Collaborate with Denials Analyst and Underpayments Coordinator
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum two years in insurance follow-up or denials
- Experience in professional coding preferred
- Strong knowledge of insurance collections
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- Clinical denials experience preferred
- Epic experience is a plus
- CPC certification strongly encouraged
