Position: Quality Engineer Lead
Compensation: $ 55 – 61 /hour, depending on experience
Location: Full Remote
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Quality Engineer Lead to join their team!

As a Quality Engineer Lead, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring software quality, driving testing strategies, and collaborating with stakeholders to enhance payment processing systems. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead and mentor within a dynamic environment, contributing to innovative projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Lead software quality assurance efforts for payment transformation projects
- Validate end-to-end payment flows and integrations
- Employ advanced testing methodologies in Agile and Waterfall environments
- Mentor junior engineers and lead stakeholder engagement
- Manage defect triage and defect management processes
- Balance testing across unit, API, and UI levels
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum 5+ years of QA/QE experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server and Jira
- Experience with Postman/API testing and low code automation tools
- Advanced skills in test case and data management
- Familiarity with BDD/TDD practices
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- Knowledge of modern payment rails and ISO 20022 messages
- Experience with Salesforce and FIS products
- Basic knowledge of infrastructure/cloud services and Power BI
