Position: Cloud & Systems Administrator
Compensation: $90,000 – $105,000 annually, depending on experience
Location: Houston, Texas
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Cloud & Systems Administrator to join their team!
This is a mid-level role focused on supporting a hybrid infrastructure environment, combining cloud and on-premises systems. The ideal candidate will be strong in Azure and Microsoft 365 administration, complementing an existing team member with more on-prem expertise. This position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative culture, engaging closely with networking and security teams.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Administer Microsoft Azure resources and perform routine operations
- Support Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online and Teams
- Monitor Azure services and respond to incidents
- Support on-prem Active Directory and Group Policy administration
- Assist with VMware host and cluster operations
- Administer Azure AD and hybrid identity user and group objects
- Monitor cloud and hybrid systems for availability and performance
- Participate in disaster recovery testing activities
- Execute and maintain existing PowerShell automation scripts
- Resolve assigned cloud and systems tickets within SLA
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- 3 to 5 years of experience in cloud or systems administration
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365
- Exposure to hybrid environments involving VMware
- Working knowledge of Azure compute, storage, networking, and identity
- Familiarity with Windows Server, Active Directory, and Group Policy
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- PowerShell scripting skills
- Experience in zero-touch / automated environments
- Knowledge of backup/recovery tools
