Position: Accountant
Compensation: $ 85,000 – 120,000 annually, depending on experience
Location: Dallas, Texas
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Accountant to join their team!
This is your chance to join a dynamic and innovative team in the heart of Dallas. As an Accountant III, you will be at the forefront of the company's accounting efforts, managing refined crude products accounting and collaborating closely with trading, scheduling, and treasury departments. This position offers a hybrid schedule with remote work on Wednesdays and Fridays, providing flexibility and work-life balance. The role is open due to expansion and the need for expertise in upstream or midstream industries. Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Manage refined crude products accounting from contract review to financial statements
- Collaborate with trading, scheduling, and treasury departments
- Analyze and prepare studies on finance, billing, and taxation methods
- Perform budget forecasts and financial ratio calculations
- Assist in development of accounting programs and systems
- Guide and train employees on financial processes and priorities
- Ensure compliance with Sarbanes Oxley and regulatory requirements
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in accounting or finance
- Experience with generally accepted accounting principles
- Proficiency in financial accounting and reporting standards
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lead, train, and coach team members
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- Experience in upstream or midstream industries
- Proficiency in Right Angle and Waterfield software
- Knowledge of commodity pricing and trading
- Experience with inventory reconciliations
