Position: Industrial Automation Engineer
Compensation: $150,000 – $160,000
Location: Deer Park, Texas (Fully Onsite)
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Industrial Automation Engineer to join their team!
Join a dynamic team as an Industrial Automation Engineer in Deer Park, TX. This direct hire role offers the opportunity to lead and support automation/control systems for facility upgrades and lifecycle maintenance in a liquids storage terminal setting. The position has been open due to the need for strong hands-on DeltaV configuration experience. Seize the chance to work in a collaborative environment where team fit and culture are paramount.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Perform DeltaV configuration and programming
- Support automation systems across terminal operations
- Handle smaller projects internally
- Collaborate with a team of engineers
- Lead complex projects with senior-level expectations
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Strong Emerson DeltaV experience
- 6-8 years in automation, instrumentation, and process controls
- 4-year engineering degree from an accredited university
- Ability to obtain a TWIC card
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- Experience with system upgrades and version migrations
- Familiarity with safety standards like IEC 61508
- Knowledge of OT cybersecurity practices
- Experience with Wonderware and Rockwell PLCs
