Position: Hospital Billing Specialist
Compensation: $ 20 – 25 /hour, depending on experience
Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Hospital Billing Specialist to join their team!
Join a dynamic healthcare environment where your billing expertise will be vital. As a Hospital Billing Specialist, you'll ensure patient claims are processed accurately and efficiently. Key Responsibilities & Duties:
- Review and correct claims within 48 hours of import
- Generate paper claims by 5 PM each weekday
- Sort and process claims for mail or fax submission
- Manage rebill requests within 72 hours
- Document actions taken on claims
- Assist with audits and billing projects
- Ensure compliance with billing rules
- Complete reconciliation of claims submission daily
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- High school diploma; prefer some college
- 1 year experience in Health Care billing
- Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, commercial insurance
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word
- 40 WPM typing speed required
- Strong oral and written communication skills
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- EPIC system experience preferred
- Any certification is a plus
- Proven organizational skills
