Compensation: $60-$65/hr (depending on experience)

Position: Network Engineer
Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Network Engineer to join their team!
This is a high-impact role for an experienced Network Engineer who thrives in complex enterprise environments. You’ll design, implement, and optimize multi-site network infrastructure while ensuring high availability, security, and performance. You’ll also troubleshoot issues, drive improvements, and collaborate with architecture teams to support long-term scalability and network resilience.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure and system configurations
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot outages to ensure optimal uptime
- Investigate and resolve LAN/WAN connectivity issues using multiple data sources
- Enforce network security standards, access controls, and system policies
- Collaborate with network architects on optimization and resilience improvements
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Strong experience with routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP)
- Hands-on expertise with TCP/IP, VLANs, subnets, routers, switches, and firewalls
- Experience with SD-WAN technologies and enterprise network environments
- Proficiency with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Wireshark)
- Solid understanding of VPNs, segmentation, and intrusion detection/prevention systems
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- Windows Server administration experience (patching, firewall config, access control)
- Experience supporting network optimization initiatives in large-scale environments
- Background working in multi-site or enterprise infrastructure settings
